                 on Thursday, April 12  (address of GPS is 301 Mary St. S. — GHS & GPS are beside each other)

Events/Categories:  U12 / U14 / U16 / U19  –  Singles / Doubles / Mixed

Format:  A, B, C for each event and cateogory (where entries permit)
              All matches are 2 out of 3 to 21 with set points.

Schedule:   Note:  Please register 1/2 hr before start of event!

                        9:00 am - start U12/U14 Mixed
                       10:00 am - start U16 / U19 Mixed
                           11 - 12 — lunch and/or completeion of Mixed Finals
                        12:00pm - start U12/ U14 Doubles
                          1:00 pm - start U16 / U19 Doubles

           Sunday, March 15 
                         9:00 am - start U12/ U16 Singles
                         11:00 am - start  U14 / U19 Singles

Prizes:  Medals for 1st and 2nd in A, B and C Flights where numbers are sufficient

Entry fee: $30 for 1, 2 or 3 events.    Entry Deadline:  Friday, April 6

Bird:  BK plastic 4000 or BK feather 6800 (if all players agree)

Congratulations to all our participants at OFSAA who played at Villanova College in King City.

In Mixed Doubles Bruce Burdett and Mara Goodyear won their first 3 matches that put them in the Quarter Finals of ‘A’.  They then lost their next 2 but finishing in the top 8 is great!!

Adam Ager and Kim Carswell competed at OFSAA for the first time.  They won their first match and then had to play the number 2 seeds and lost.  In ‘B’ they lost their first match in a very tight 3 game match. 

In Girls Doubles Eryn Belanger and Dorothy Duck won their first 2 matches and then lost 1 placing them in ‘B’.  They lost their first round match in ‘B’ to a very quick team. 

Mara, Bruce and and Adam all are moving on to University.  Congratulations to you all for all your efforts throughout this year and past years!  All the best in whatever your future endeavours bring you!

Eryn, Kim and Dorothy can already start focussing on next year’s OFSAA to be held in Stratford.

Also a big thank you to Katie Harris, Chris Murphy, Chris Cluett and Dennis Groenevelt who Line Judged the finals on Saturday!  Well done!
